When I input the selling fees into the workbook (ex. -33,100.97) it adds it to the total net income loss field and not subtract it. Is there something I am doing wrong?
Hi Jason, If I understand correctly, you’re putting the minus sign (-) in the cell. Don’t use the sign. The worksheet is set up to just need the amounts. The only time we use the sign in the worksheet is when the figure is opposite as in the top portion with the Red highlighted fields. If you would like to discuss this or need additional help you can set up a coaching call at https://calendly.com/vickimccay. I hope that helps.
Hi Vicky,
The Google sheets download is a shared file, not a view only file. I’m unable to make a copy. Plus it’s already filled in. Could we get a blank copy?
Ann, Thank you for giving me the heads up on that. :) I believe it is fixed now. Give it a try and get back with me if still having issues.
Hi, I downloaded the Excel version several times; thinkin I messed up the previous ones. However, it seems the Cost of Goods section seems to have a broken formula connection with the manual COGS manual input calculation table at the bottom. Only the March example is working. The other months won’t fill up with the correct COGS unto the main COGS section. Am I doing something wrong? Thank you
Hi George,
The way the sheet is supposed to work is Cells 68E-70P are filled in with your balances as noted on each row. Then 71E- 71P flip up to 19E-19P. If you have COGS that are not Amazon and you want to separate the amounts, you can use 18E-18P. Then 18E-20P add into 21E-21P. The results are used to calculate 23E-23P. I’ve check the spreadsheet for broken formulas but have not found any. If you are using this process and still not working as expected, you can screen shot or make a short video and email it to vicki@southernmomflair.com for more help.
Thanks,
Vicki
